Program Description

Event Details

PCPL's "STEM Adventures" is a monthly collaboration with the Powhatan Extension Office to guide students through a planned STEM activity or experiment.

This month's theme will be "Electricity" and we will be working with electronic snap circuit boards to conduct experiments!

Children must be registered in advance for this class. Please note that space is limited. If you are unable to attend please notify the library at least 24 hrs. in advance so that your spot may be given to a child on the wait list, and so that our staff and partners can inform persons on the waitlist with enough notice, and avoid empty seats. Patrons placed on the waitlist should expect to be on standby in case a spot opens up. Thank you for your participation. We can't wait to see you there!

If you are a person with a disability and desire any assistive devices, services, or other accommodations to participate in this activity, please contact Cathy Howland at the Powhatan Extension Office at (804) 598-5640 during business hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. to discuss accommodations 5 days prior to the event. *TDD number is (800) 828-1120. Extension is a joint program of Virginia Tech, Virginia State University, the U.S. Department of Agriculture, and state and local governments.
