Program Description

Event Details

Join therapy dog Siri and her friends in a paws-itive reading experience for youngsters. Dogs are the perfect nonjudgmental and supportive listeners to help young readers gain confidence in reading.

Readers can bring a book from home or select one at the library to read to one of the pups.

While walk-ins are welcome, we do ask that attendees sign up ahead of time so we know how many furry friends to have at the program.

We recommend parents with shy readers, or readers that are sensitive to noise and activity, arrive around 6:00pm.
