Nature Lab - Trees Are the Answer

Join us for our STEAM-focused "Nature Lab" series in collaboration with Powhatan State Park and Family Learning Adventures! Stop by to explore the different books, games, and learning kits you can check out and take home with you to learn more about nature and the environment. In addition to browsing resources, there will also be an informal activity, exhibit, or presentation you can check out.

The theme for this week's Nature Lab is "Trees are the Answer." We will be giving out live tree seedlings to take home and plant! In addition, you will be able to find a series of forestry handouts about Virginia trees, labeled tree slabs and cookies, and check out an exhibit tree sample box with seeds and leaves. Come celebrate Arbor Day a little early with us!
