Nature Lab - Pollination by Butterfly

Join us for our STEAM-focused "Nature Lab" series in collaboration with Powhatan State Park and Family Learning Adventures! Stop by to explore the different books, games, and learning kits you can check out and take home with you to learn more about nature and the environment. In addition to browsing resources, there will also be an informal activity, exhibit, or presentation you can check out.

The theme for this week's Nature Lab is "Pollination by Butterfly." We will be giving out free vegetable seeds to take home and plant! In addition, the Powhatan Park Rangers will be present to exhibit insects and caterpillars, as well as talk about butterflies. Join us on an insect walk and learn all about how they help us with pollination.
