Slow down, step outside, and discover how nature journaling can change the way you notice the world around you. This hands-on workshop offers an inviting introduction to nature journaling—no art or writing experience required.
Nature journaling is a flexible practice that combines words, sketches, and simple notes to help you observe more closely, ask better questions, and remember what you notice. It can improve focus, strengthen observation skills, support memory, and deepen curiosity—all while helping people feel more connected to the natural world.
Participants will be guided through easy, curiosity-driven activities that encourage looking closely, wondering freely, and recording observations in a personal journal. The goal is not polished pages, but learning a repeatable process you can use anytime you’re outside—whether walking in the park, tending a garden, or exploring your own backyard.
Each session features seasonal subjects and prompts. Come once, or return monthly to continue building observation skills and a nature journaling habit.
