We are teaming up with Powhatan County Public Schools and Mr. Dean Taylor to bring you our first ever Chess Tournament! Mr. Taylor will facilitate the tournament. There will be a Scholastic Section and an Open Section. Players of all ages and ability levels are encouraged to attend. 1st and 2nd place prizes will be awarded. The tournament will be from 1pm -4pm.
You must register in order to play. The cut-off for registration is August 19th. You can register here, over the phone with us at (804) 598-5670, or in person at the Library.
